Don’t let the word “homeschool” intimidate you. Homeschooling your children is an enormous responsibility that can be reduced by simply having the right knowledge and being prepared. By learning the laws, regulations and guidelines on homeschooling in the state you live in, you can easily manage a home-based education. Each state is the U.S. has a very specific set of regulations for homeschooling. If you are thinking about teaching your child at home, you'll need to know the ins and outs of what needs to be done beforehand and during. Homeschooling in Oklahoma does not require a certified teacher, testing
These recommendations are not required by Oklahoma state law, however, following these suggestions would allow a parent to prove they are providing an adequate education.
