Welcome Message from the Homeschool Times Editor!

I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself! My name is Crystalle and I am the new editor for the Homeschool Times! While the blog was created to be written by kids for kids it still needs an editor just to make sure that everything is readable :)

My "day job" is that of a copyeditor for a private company which gives me the freedom to also homeschool my own son. I have been a copyeditor now for three years and I have been homeschooling for five or six. While I do not have a degree in English or Language Arts it has always been my strong suit. Once upon a time, I was the third highest scoring student in my school on the standardized tests for that year. My passion, however, was investigation and criminal justice and so I studied and received a degree in Forensic Science. As much as I love what I've been trained to do, it wasn't very conducive to homeschooling so luckily I was able to find a job as a copyeditor instead which is still something I love to. I look forward to reading and publishing everyone's entries! Thanks for entrusting me with this job!
