We hope you enjoy one of the Fractured Fairy Tales written by homeschoolers who were in this week's creative writing class! This one is a reimagining of Goldilocks and the Three Bears!

by Catherine Amelia Lobell and Alyssa Marie Morgan

Once upon a time Goldilocks was supposed to bring her mother a bowl of soup and some flowers. She accidently went down the wrong road and ended up in front of a rabbit hole.
She went inside because the hidden door was out in plain sight and was unlocked. She saw a table and on that table were three different bowls of porridge.

First, she went to the blue bowl which was the biggest bowl of them all but, it was too hot. Next, she went to the pink bowl which was medium size but, it was too cold. Then, she went to the little green bowl with carrots on it which was the smallest of all and it was perfect.

But then she went into the sitting room. She saw three chairs. First, she went to the big blue chair but, it was too bumpy. Next, she went to the medium pink chair but, it was too mushy. Then, she went to the tiny green and carrot chair and it was perfect.

Finally, she got very, very tired. She needed a long nap before she went back home. So, she went downstairs. She found three beds. She only went to the green bed with the tiny carrots and the little ladder. It was perfect.

The three Hares got home early. They let Goldilocks sleep. When she woke up they forgave her. Baby Hare and Goldilocks played for a while. Goldilocks gave Baby Hare her favorite stuffed doll as an apology. They became best friends. The End
