Laura was a creole plantation. We had a great learning about Laura and her family. It was crazy to find out that that people were living in the slave quarters until 1977. No electricity, no running water or plumbing, and the floors were one board thick. A must see for Louisiana and American History #homeschooling #fieldtrip #hsheroes
