Our Valentine Skate Party

What do you do on Valentines Day if you homeschool? Why you have a skate party with more than 50 other homeschoolers!!!!! I love getting together with our homeschool group because I am always meeting somebody new.

Today, Airline Skate Country was filled with little kids and big kids and a whole lot of kids in between. Some of the kids were scared and some skated very well but all of us had a great time listening to the music and hanging out. I like “skating” because it gives me the freedom to keep up with the other kids in my wheelchair and I don’t need anyone’s help.

The tables were filled with lots of food. I have never seen so many Valentine treats in one place! Everyone ate all they wanted.

Some of the kids exchanged Valentines at the party. I bet they had fun looking at all of their Valentines when they got home.

I hope we have another skating party soon.
