by Taylor Cole

It started on a cold night. Three major events happened on this cold night.
The first one happened at 11:03.
Victoria was walking to Target. She raced across the store as the speaker called out that they were closing early due to weather conditions. She had to find a pen. As she approached the pen aisle, a stranger walked up to her.
“You need to go now!” exclaimed the stranger.
Puzzled, Victoria asked “I still have some time, the store isn’t closing yet, why do I need to leave?”
“It’s coming,” the stranger mumbled.
“What’s coming?” Victoria worriedly asked. The stranger looked at the ceiling. The ground began to shake. Then they heard the second event, the explosion.
