This is part of our Creative Writing: Finding Your Voice series, where kids were encouraged to free write and let whatever snippets/scenarios come alive on the page. by Arianna Max went to Breaux Mart grocery store and got some sodas and a snack. He came across this man on his way home. The middle age man was selling a statue or an odd looking creature for only 10 pounds. Max went ahead home without the creature because he did not have enough money.  When Max arrived home ... the state was on his front porch. He was surprised and confused all at once. He placed the odd statue on his dresser. The next day was weird. Max woke up somewhere he did not recognize. He heard a loud scream. To be continued ...
