Math is considered an essential component of childhood education and therefore it’s only natural that most states require mathematics curriculum. Learning materials are the homeschooling parents, guardians, tutors and teachers’ sole responsibility. Finding useful and correct resources can be a challenge. Here are five online resources for math that homeschoolers can use to satisfy curriculum requirements. HomeschoolMath.net HomeschoolMath.net offers free math worksheets by grade level including elementary math, various currencies, fractions, decimals and even pre-algebra. Lessons and articles, a curriculum guide, math games, math product reviews and videos are also among the available resources.
Freedom Homeschooling
Freedom Homeschooling maintains a comprehensive list of online resources, which make it an excellent website to visit for inspiration and materials when creating a math syllabus for a semester. The list includes other websites to visit and sort through and most likely contains web addresses for resources found on this very list!
Life in the Nerddom
Life in the Nerddom contains a plethora of free learning materials for elementary, middle and high school homeschool students. Not to mention, all-in-one classes complete with online workbooks and printables.
Math Mammoth
The YouTube channel of Math Mammoth is an excellent resource for free math learning ranging from converting metric units of measurements to division within fractions. They also maintain a healthy website full of free resources (linked on their YouTube channel) and purchasable material as well.
Math is Fun
The Math is Fun website offers a curriculum guide for math based on New York State homeschool requirements, which will also work for various other states. It’s a full guide ranging from PreKinder to Calculus and includes each grade.
