Homeschooling Hero: Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake, the pop sensation that all of us are familiar with attended an elementary school situated in his hometown in Tennessee. He was homeschooled after he finished the fifth grade. He got lucky and got a break when he appeared on Disney's The Mickey Mouse Club. Other members of this "club" were the likes of Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling.

Multi-talented Justin Timberlake was homeschooled!



Homeschooling
The pop star started out as a child artist on the show "Star Search" and soon moved on to The Mickey Mouse Club. Later, his unique voice would grace our ears when he joined the boy band N'Sync in the nineties.  

Having made it big in the music biz and due to his busy lifestyle and the hectic schedule of his career with N'Sync, he began homeschooling. This continued throughout his middle school and high school years. 

Accomplishments
His success did not stop at him being a singing sensation only. He ventured into acting and appearing in Hollywood movies. He has several successful hits to his name. 

Some of his more popular films amongst others are:
  • The Social Network
  • Friends With Benefits
  • Bad Teacher
  • Runner Runner
  • Trolls

Justin has a successful silver screen career and has won 2 Emmy awards for a comedy series in the years 2009 and 2011. He's a versatile actor and musician who loves to experiment and has achieved enormous success globally for both.

Media/Achievements 
Timberlake has released four music albums to date that have been listed below in the order of their release:
  • The Justified World Tour (2003–2004)
  • Future Sex/Love Show (2007)
  • The 20/20 Experience World Tour (2013–2015)
  • Man of the Woods Tour (2018–2019)

All of these albums have been certified platinum or more by the RIAA. 

Awards 
The blue-eyed superstar hundreds of awards. His music portfolio alone is very impressive:
  • 10 Grammy awards out of 38 nominations
  • 4 Emmy awards out of 8 nominations
  • 7 American Music Awards
  • 3 Brit Awards
  • 9 Billboard Music Awards
  • 11 MTV Video Music Awards
  • Sold more than 30 million music albums and 56 million singles all across the globe
  • Sold 70 million music records with N SYNC
  • Ranked at number 5 on the list of "Greatest of All Time Pop Songs Artists" released by the Billboard in 2017

Currently
He has just launched his book titled "Hindsight & All the Things I Can't See In Front of Me" on the 30th of October, 2018. In addition to some beautifully captured candid photographs of Justin Timberlake, it also includes interesting stories about his early childhood and his career. 

Further he is extremely busy with promoting his fifth music album titled “Man of the Woods” with his tour “The Man of the Woods Tour.” Currently taking place in Toronto, it’s the sixth concert of the tour, with the last one scheduled in New York City in January, 2019.
